Panther Invites: Emi Ömar

Panther proudly invites Emi Ömar for his first London show, at Marylebone’s new subterranean Hi-Fi space, MAYA. Emi Ömar makes electronic music built on vocoder and hard groove. He came up through Recordeep and the Paris underground that orbits it, and he's been releasing on labels like Groove to Grave, Kiku, and Telluric Village for the last few years. He plays live; skilfully manipulating musical codes to create a unique and intoxicating groove for the audience. MAYA Marylebone is the perfect place to watch his live performance up-close and on a sound system that respects every detail. MAYA Marylebone is open from 6pm for drinks and Mexican food voted best in London by TimeOut. DJs start at 9PM with Alex Osifo warming us up before Emi Omars live performance at 12AM until 2AM. Alex Osifo is a London-based artist whose taste for underground sound found its development and nurture in Leeds. A former jazz musician with an eclectic range of influences, his sets move between house and techno with soul and groove as a constant thread.
