Acrylics Painting Workshop - 30/06/26
UNCOVERE[D] is not your typical sip & paint! (ticket needs to be purchased via eventbrite) This is a hands-on painting workshop where you'll learn real technique - colour theory, how to mix and blend acrylics, brush handling, and how to build a finished painting on canvas from scratch. All guided by professional fine artist and art educator Dhanishtha Patel. Throughout the session, Dhanishtha moves around every participant offering personal, 1-to-1 guidance, so whether you've never picked up a brush before or you're looking to build on some experience, you'll be supported every step of the way. By the end of the evening you'll leave with a finished canvas painting you created yourself, a set of new skills to keep building on, and the confidence to call yourself an artist. Not at all, this workshop is designed for all abilities, complete beginners very much included. You'll be guided through everything from scratch. We also welcome experienced artists who want to just get in a creative space! What should I wear? We use water-based acrylic paints which are easy to wash off, but we'd recommend wearing something you don't mind getting a little paint on, just in case! Can I come on my own? Absolutely, lots of people do! It's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a great way to meet people.
