LoMAZ Walks🚶: The Line – East London Art Walk + Cable Car Crossing
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” - Pablo Picasso Join us on The Line at East London for a unique outdoor art walk linking Stratford to the O2 along the riverside. The Line is London’s first dedicated public art walk, stretching through East London’s waterways, parks, and industrial landscapes. It connects two major landmarks: Stratford and the O2 Arena. Along the route, we’ll explore a series of large-scale contemporary sculptures and installations from leading international artists. The walk blends art, nature, and urban architecture into one continuous open-air gallery. It’s a relaxed, social walk designed for conversation, photography, and taking in East London from a different perspective — with plenty of stops along the way. Read more here: https://the-line.org/ MEET DETAILS: FROM 11.15am: MEET AT CAFFE NERO Address: Westfield stratford city, Montfichet Rd, London E20 1EJ To find the Nero, please head towards the Westfield Shopping Centre exit from the tube and it is on the "The Street" which is the dedicated outdoor, pedestrianised dining section of Westfield Stratford City. 11.30am: WALK OFFICIALLY BEGINS \~14:30–15:00pm: CABLE CAR CROSSING We will cross the river using the IFS Cloud Cable Car. This is part of the planned route and offers great views across the Thames. If you do not want to take the cable car, an alternative route is available via the Jubilee Line from Canning Town to North Greenwich. We will coordinate via Whatsapp. \~15:30pm: WALK FINISHES (near North Greenwich / The O2) 15:30pm–late: PUB SOCIAL (optional) We’ll head to a local pub for a social chit chat over drinks. Location tbc 48 hours before event. TICKETS: No tickets required for this event.
