Join us for this in-person event at St Philip's Church and learn the basics of improv comedy. Over the course of 6 weeks, you'll dive into fun exercises, games, and techniques to help you think on your feet and create hilarious scenes on the spot. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and sense of humor! Whether you're looking to boost your confidence, meet new friends, or simply have a good laugh, this course is perfect for you. Perfect for those with no previous improv, comedy or performance experience or improvisers who are a bit rusty. Whether you want to perform, or simply practice a new skill gain confidence, open your imagination, and have fun while you learn. What to expect Learn the core foundational skills of Improv Learn to create on the spot Work together as a group Lots of laughter! The course will be capped at 14 students so expect time for individual attention and feedback from not one but TWO teachers (Lily and Kate)! Term dates: Thursday evenings 7pm - 9 pm June 18th June 25th July 2nd July 9th July 16th July 23rd With an optional showcase to perform in for friends and family at the end of the course exact date and venue TBC.
