Hoxton Cabal: HIGHBROW76, Laney, Benebe (vinyl only)

For June's Cabal, we are joined by seasoned selectors HIGHBROW76 and Laney, who have been bringing a touch of class to London's underground scene. Expect house with the occasional bits of wonk. Highbrow76 is a London based DJ with roots in the underground club culture of Manchester in the mid-90s. Shaped by the city’s formative dancefloors, his approach to DJing centres on vinyl, patience and storytelling behind the decks. Drawing on more than three decades of collecting and playing records, his sets move fluidly across deep house, Detroit and Chicago influences, balearic and hypnotic techno. Long blends and careful selection are at the core of his style, with a belief that great DJ sets should unfold as a journey rather than a sequence of tracks. We very much look forward to his closing set. With an ongoing residency on The Boat Pod and having won multiple competitions including the Mother Earth competition in 2025 and more recently the Limousine Dream (Gene on Earth) Phonica call out, Laney is an established selector on the London scene. With a preference for variety and keeping the dancefloor on its toes, Laney injects a sense of fun into her sets whilst simultaneously maintaining quality and intrigue. We are delighted to have Laney on board for our June edition of the Cabal. Cabal resident Benebe will be on warm up duty, with a bringing house with a deep, twisted edge. Vinyl only, all night.
