Farnham to Frensham
A truly beautiful 10 mile walk along the River Wey that takes in delightful historical ruins of Waverley Abbey and Frensham Little Pond & Great Pond too ! Let's go with the flow ! Please arrive by 9.20am at Waterloo under the clock so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 9.54am train to Farnham that arrives at 10.55am. Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer. Train ticket : return to Farnham. Or you may decide to drive. The walk shall commence by 11.10am. Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus walking shoes boots or trainers. We shall have a drink at the end of the walk. Please make sure that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and also you should be fit enough to walk 2.5 miles per hour. Train back from Farnham at 5.58pm that arrives back at 7.13pm having taken the bus from Great Pond to Farnham at 5.35pm. Please only post photos of others with their consent. My no is 07714250849.
