Ford to Amberley featuring Arundel Stunning River Arun Walk
A beautiful 9 mile walk by the stunning River Arun with an extended lunch stop in Arundel - so quaint with all its antique shops , castle and cathedral too ! Let's go with the flow ! Group return train tickets shall be purchased as from 9.30am for the train at 10.17am that arrives at Ford at 12.02pm. Train ticket : Ford return. Or you may decide to drive. We shall set off immediately from Ford train station. Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and wear boots, walking shoes or trainers. Meetup fee : £8 payable in cash or £6 by Saturday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied upon request. No PayPal. Please use the toilets on the train as there is only one toilet at Ford and it is generally closed. We shall have a drink at an beautiful riverside pub in an iconic location between Arundel and Amberley. Train back from Amberley at 5.58pm.
