So Do You Like Jungle (Club Makossa Dalston Free Entry)
FADED PRESENTS PROJECT: So Do You Like Jungle A love letter to one of the UK's greatest genre of dance music. Each artist on the lineup utilises live instrumentation alongside their DJ sets, be it vocals, MCing, or external instruments, blurring the line between performance and dancefloor. Club Makossa Dalston Thursday 18th June Free Entry 8pm - Late DJ INFO:: Noli is unpredictable, dynamic, and fluid. Whatever genre Noli delves into, their artistry is unmistakable, currently pushing that further with live viola improvisation woven into their sets and alongside other DJs on the night. Xailia is Brighton-based and Bristol-made — a jungle producer, DJ, and singer quietly building something special. Expect her productions and vocals to hit harder than you're ready for. Mayka grew up inside Brighton's music scene, her roots in vocals and classical piano instilling a love for melody that sits in constant, productive tension with her obsession with rave culture. WHERE's GULU??? is a multi-genre DJ and producer at the heart of the Brighton scene, known for high-energy, bass-driven sets that move without warning from jungle to 140 and back again. JJM is a Buddhist rapper, songwriter, and producer whose pen moves fluidly across hip-hop, grime, and jungle. His introspective storytelling and spiritual lyricism find a natural home over breaks, making him a perfect fit for a night that lives at the intersection of MC culture and dancefloor energy. Wren's music is shaped by her Nigerian and Cockney heritage, fast and energetic percussion cutting through every set she plays. Rhythm isn't just a staple for Wren, it's the whole story.
