Shinty Taster Session

Casual hit about followed by a cafe stop 🗓️ Saturday 13th June 🕑 12:00–13:30 📍Cringle Park and Playing Fields, Crossley Rd, Levenshulme, Manchester M19 2QP Shinty or Camanachd is a fast-paced Scottish stick sport played on grass with similarities to hurling and hockey. Whether you’re completely new to shinty or already familiar with the sport, all are welcome to join us for a casual hit about. After the session, we’ll be heading to Grounded MCR - a small cafe in Cringle Park for a coffee and bite to eat. Parking is available on Crossley Rd, Meeting point: Cringle Fields building / Kingsway Athletic entrance Also accessible by bus or train.
