'Secluded, Near Woods' on Thursday 11.6 at 20 at Kino Aero

Hi everyone! Join us on Thursday, June 11th, for a screening of Secluded, Near Woods (‘Na samotě u lesa’) at Kino Aero. The film begins at 20:30. You’ll find me (wearing a bright pink/flowery scarf) at the Kino Aero café (inside) from 8 pm. The 1976 film, directed by Czech filmmaker Jiří Menzel, tells the story of ‘the Lavicka’s, a Czech family from the city, [who] rents a house in the country with the option to buy. However, old Mr Komarek seems reluctant to sell the house as they agreed’ (here). Please note the movie is screened as part of Some Like It Czech events, and therefore will feature an introduction.
