Let's canoe in Křivoklátsko!

Thank you for your understanding & cooperation :) \\\\\ Ahój Discoverers! Weather forecast promises proper summer weather for the weekend so let's cool down on the Berounka river. The plan is to canoe some 12km/8 miles from the small town of Zbečno in the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko. The route is suitable for beginners. You can join even if you haven’t canoed before as long as you can swim. You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill! I’m not a certified instructor however, I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. LOGISTICS We will meet on Saturday 20th of June at 8:30 in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by 19:00. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and an unexpected delay is possible. This is a full-day event. WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU • Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water) • Wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans) • Sunscreen • Towel and maybe some spare clothes (in case your canoe capsizes) • Swimwear • Bottle of water and a small snack. • Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large. You need to be prepared for a possibility of the boat flipping (capsizing). Keep your phone in a waterproof case and have glasses on a string while on the river! \\\\\ PRICE: 890 CZK (Includes train fare both ways, equipment rental and myself as your guide and organizer) Food&drink is not included.
